Bianca Myers is the face behind In Form Pilates & Physiotherapy.

Bianca spent six years at university, graduating from The University of Melbourne in 2014 with a Doctor of Physiotherapy Degree. Before that, she completed a degree in Exercise & Sport Science at Deakin University.

Bianca has ten years of experience working as a physiotherapist, predominantly in the private practice setting. In this time she has treated a variety of Musculoskeletal conditions through manual therapy, dry needling, hydrotherapy and clinical exercise (Pilates) drawing on her background in both Physiotherapy and Exercise & Sport Science.

During her time practicing, her  passion for exercise-based rehabilitation and injury prevention evolved. Whilst there is an important role for manual therapy techniques, she believes individuals need to address any biomechanical deficits in order to sustain these benefits.  This has been apparent in her clinical experience as well as her own personal experience with injury prevention, management and performance enhancement.

Bianca also has a special interest in women’s health, with a focus on prenatal and postnatal care, as well as perimenopause and menopause. As a mother of two, she brings both personal understanding and professional expertise, combining lived experience with evidence-based practice.

Bianca believes attention to detail and a holistic approach to patient-centered care are essential to ensure the best outcomes are achieved.

At In Form we believe attention to detail and education are vital for peak performance,  therefore our Clinical Pilates sessions are small in size, ranging from 1:1 to a maximum of 1:4 participants.

All individuals must have an Initial Assessment prior to commencing Pilates (Clinical Exercise) sessions where a detailed history will be taken and a thorough biomechanical assessment will be made. This will be used in conjunction with patient goals to enable the program to be tailored specific to each individual. Following the initial assessment, individuals will be required to complete a minimum of two supervised 1:1 sessions prior to participating in small groups to ensure all exercises are appropriate, being correctly executed,  and to provide personalised feedback.
